A must-have book...'Birth Space, Safe Place: emotional wellbeing through pregnancy and birth' (Findhorn Press 2009) by Adela Stockton

'Birth Space, Safe Place: emotional wellbeing through pregnancy and birth' (Findhorn Press 2009) by Adela Stockton

This book is a 'must have' for all pregnant women to read   including those who support women and their families during pregnancy and childbirth.

About the author

Adela Stockton is a doula, doula course leader (Birth Consultancy) and childbirth homeopath, with a background in teaching and midwifery. She has been an active member of Doula UK, as former PR spokesperson and current joint Assessor/Mentor co-ordinator, since 2002.

Her articles promoting gentle birth and doulas have been published widely in both professional journals and parenting magazines. She can be contacted through her website www.adelastockton.co.uk.

"This is a lovely book for any women wanting to explore the possibilities of a gentler way of giving birth in which she is in harmony with her body, and free from what is often conveyor belt management in a large institution."
Sheila Kitzinger, author, The New Pregnancy and Childbirth - Choices and Challenges, and Birth Crisis

The publisher Findhorn Press will donate to the DUK  Hardship Fund 12% from any purchase of the book if purchased via their website. Please click here  to find out more and for a direct link to purchase.
