About Me
I’m Alice, solo parent to a pair of lunatics with a passion to support parents to flourish in their new roles. Birth is a pivotal moment for every family and I love walking with families as they work out what comes after, learning how to practically care for their baby, how to be parents and how to thrive in their new life. My role can include:
*breastfeeding and infant feeding support
*listening and emotional support for all the family
*practical baby care
*assisting with slings/baby carriers
*cooking, light housework, keeping siblings out of mischief
I’ve been working as an NCT breastfeeding counsellor antenatally and postnatally since 2020. I recently worked for Southampton City Council as a home visiting breastfeeding counsellor, supporting parents having infant feeding challenges. I am a volunteer peer supporter with Salisbury Sling Library and I run a postnatal social drop-in in Fordingbridge called Little Buds. I’m also a Christian, I attend New Life Community Church in Fordingbridge and have a particular passion for leading others in prayer.
