About Me
Hi everyone, firstly massive congratulations on the pregnancy or bringing a gorgeous new baby into the world! I hope you are feeling well and taking things gently!
I’m Carys, an experienced Hypnobirthing teacher, passionate birth and postnatal doula and massive believer that it does take a village to raise a child and also a parent. I have supported families across the world since 2018 through my Hypnobirthing courses and pregnancy events – and I am super excited to now be able to support families further with my doula services.
Originally from Aberystwyth in West Wales, I am now based in Harpenden in Hertfordshire. I am a tea drinking, art admiring, book hoarding, podcast enthusiast, seaside loving welsh girl now living in England. I do what I do because I want everyone going into birth and parenthood to know all the information and support I had no clue about when I was pregnant or a new mum.
I have a 4 year old son, a 10 year old step son, 2 crazy cats, the kettle is always on and my door (well DMs these days!) is always open for support.
I founded Be Kind Hypnobirthing in 2018 after a really positive (but no way straight forward) birth with my cheeky toddler, William. I have supported hundreds of couples through my Hypnobirthing courses and pregnancy events over the past two and a half years and can’t wait to be even more hands on with my new services as a birth and post natal doula.
In 2021 I trained as a birth & postnatal doula with Kicki Hansard from Birth Bliss Academy – I am so excited to be supporting families further with my postnatal and birth doula services and feel so lucky to have a “job” that I am so passionate about!
