Courtney Parrott

About Me

I’m a wife and a mama to a tribe of 4 children. My passion (some might call it an obsession) for babies has been around ever since I was big enough to carry around my baby doll. I’ve planned my whole life to become a wife and mother myself. After being pregnant and giving birth to my own children I grew this love and passion and desire to dive into learning more about the whole pregnancy, birth, and the fourth trimester. I truly do feel it’s the most important thing we do and it’s incredibly amazing what we can do.    I finished my initial preparation course for a post natal doula this year and will continue to expand my knowledge and experience with further education and courses.  All of my prior work history is involved with children and I couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else. But, being apart of those first few moments of a newborn and their families lives is something I’ve dreamed about doing.  Growing up I knew I wanted to be apart of this moment. Now having my own children and going through many different experiences I’ve learned how incredibly important this time is in a woman’s  ( and the family that surrounds her) life is. I’ve learned how much she endures and how much support and love is needed. It’s such a learning and life changing experience that we are so lucky to go through. I cannot wait to share my compassion , experience, nurturing heart and hands and most importantly, support to all my families.
