I am local to Reading but also cover around Reading.
Languages spoken other than English:
I speak French fluenty and am currently learning BSL. Before deciding on becoming a doula I was a nursery nurse so I am use to working with children of all ages.
My name is Ines Rose Edwards, I decided to become a doula after having studied several domaines as I believe that doulas are a positive attribute to our society.
I am currently on my way to becoming a recognised postnatal and birth doula. I firmly believe that a doula is a person who can help and support a family in many different ways but ultimately ends with the same result, a family that feels happier and stronger. These are the sentiments I wish to leave all families with.
“I looked forward to my visits from Ines. She was the support we needed, both physically and emotionally. She formed a good bond with our family and made it possible for us to make time to enjoy having our newborn baby.”
“Ines got on really well with our whole family, and put extra effort into getting on with my other daughter who was suddenly not the main attention. She gave our family great support.”
It important that you choose the right doula for you, feel free to give me a call for a chat and browse my site.
I leave you with a poem I thoroughly enjoy by William Blake,
I have no name
I am but two days old.
What shall I call thee?
I happy am
Joy is my name,
Sweet joy befall thee!
Sweet joy but two days old,
Sweet joy I call thee;
Thou dost smile.
I sing the while
Sweet joy befall thee.
