I live in Bristol and provide prenatal, birth and postnatal support. I am passionate about empowering women to have the birth they want, whatever that may look like. I believe that birth can be a powerful and positive experience and am in awe of women’s incredible gift to bring new life into the world. I trust your ability to birth your baby and am here to support you in feeling confident and well-informed. I offer continuity of care, emotional and physical support and talking through your options and preferences at every stage. I am happy to tailor my provision to suit your needs.
Do get in touch to discuss your requirements and for a free consultation.
I believe that having a doula should not be a luxury.
My prices are currently low to reflect my mentorship.
Empower yourself with knowledge and understand your options to feel supported and in control on your journey. This is a one off session to talk through all of your labour and birth options so that you can make informed decisions. I will guide you through making a birth plan with a follow up review.
This includes 3 prenatal sessions that cover: debriefing past experience/s, exploring your birth preferences and making a birth plan, pain management options, physiology of labour, physical and mental wellbeing for your postnatal period, and any other queries you might want to explore. You will also have access to my extensive library on pregnancy and birth as well as ongoing text/email/phone support throughout your pregnancy.
My birth doula package includes: 3 prenatal sessions listed above, as well as support throughout labour and 2 postnatal sessions. I am on call 24/7 from week 38 until your baby is born. I also offer you unlimited support via email or phone throughout the time we are together and often even beyond that.
I provide emotional, practical, and informative support during your “fourth trimester” to nurture you in feeling confident and supported, giving you space to recover, get to know your baby, and navigate the experience of parenthood in a way that suits your unique needs. This can include debreifing your birth, breastfeeding or formula support, cooking you nutritious food, helping with household chores or other children, or spending time with your baby whilst you get some rest.
Elsewhere, I can be found running around after my energetic toddler! My own transition to motherhood only emphasised the importance of a supportive birth team.
