I support you and your birth partner(s) to make you feel confident and calm, supported and happy through your pregnancy and your birth.
I will make sure you have what’s needed to make you feel confident, calm, in control and positive about your journey to birthing your baby, however you birth. This will be different for each person so how I support you will be a really personalised thing.
I used to work in massive companies managing huge change projects and programmes and I coached and supported senior leaders and CEOs through change too. I loved my job but there was always a part of me that didn’t quite feel right. When I had my children I became a hypnobirthing teacher because I saw first hand the impact that a really brilliant birth education can have on your birth – no matter where or how you birth you baby. I had my eyes opened to the huge transition to motherhood through birth. I then began to be asked to support births by my clients and my career as a doula began.
You need to be supported in all kinds of ways when you are pregnant and in labour. In ways that only a doula can support. You deserve this support and you need this information. Its such an individualised path for you. I work to make sure you have everything you need to feel confident – information, support – physically and emotionally and I hold you and and your space. I am here for you, no matter what.
I am a KGH and The Yes Mum Birth Project (Your Baby Your Birth) trained hypnobirthing teacher
I am trained in the Rewind Technique to support you through birth trauma recovery
I have completed training in Closing the Bones postnatal massage
I run the Biggleswade Positive Birth Movement Group and I’m the Acting Chair and Vice Chair for The Rosie Maternity Voices Group at Addenbrooks.
Please drop me a message and we can arrange to have a initial chat to see how I can support you.
