 Supporting Your Birth Journey in Chichester

Hello, I’m Kerry, and I am passionate about guiding and empowering women through their birth journeys in and around Chichester. As a mother of three myself, I deeply understand the significance of this life-changing experience and the importance of having a knowledgeable and caring support system by your side. I worked as a Primary Teacher for 13 years, prior to embarking on midwifery training which has now led me down the doula path! I live in West Wittering near the beach, with my three daughters aged 13,11,9, my husband, two dogs and two Bengal cats!

Drawing from my own experiences and witnessing the difference that continuous care can make, I am dedicated to providing unwavering support throughout your entire birth experience. Building a strong rapport with you, ensuring your comfort, and creating a safe space are at the forefront of my approach as your doula.

Training and Support:

With a background in midwife training, I bring a unique blend of knowledge and compassionate care to my role as a doula. After completing my first year of midwife training, I chose to pursue a more personalised approach as a doula and completed my training with Birth Bliss Academy. This decision has allowed me to combine my midwifery foundation with the nurturing support that doulas provide, creating a holistic and empowering experience for expectant mothers. I have experienced water births, caesarean sections, inductions and can provide breastfeeding advice and support.

I believe that every woman’s birth journey is exceptional and deserving of respect and individualised care. Drawing from my midwifery background, I offer evidence-based information, helping you make informed decisions and navigate the choices available to you. I am dedicated to providing the highest level of support and empowering you to feel heard, valued, and safe throughout your birthing experience.

Postnatal Support:

As your postnatal doula, I understand that the early days of parenthood can feel overwhelming. That’s why I offer compassionate and practical support to help you transition smoothly into this new chapter. From addressing feeding concerns to providing guidance on local resources in and around Chichester, I am here to lend a helping hand. Whether it’s helping with other siblings, assisting with household tasks, allowing you to sleep or simply offering a listening ear, I aim to create a nurturing environment where you can confidently embrace your role as a new parent.
