I’m mum to a gorgeous yet challenging daughter and son and I live in Newbury, West Berkshire. I will travel to clients within approximately 45 minutes drive of Newbury.
My passion is helping families to have positive experiences of adding a baby or babies to the family. Birth matters. How we experience becoming parents matters. Being happy with our choices, and having those choices supported, matters. And starting our lives as parents or parents of 2/3/4/… feeling supported matters so much!
I offer support and preparation antenatally, including private Infant Feeding Preparation sessions in your own home.
As a Postnatal Doula, part of my role is to help you to gain confidence in your new roles as parents (or as parents of 2/3/4/__!). I am there to offer support, encouragement and practical help, aiming to make the postnatal time more relaxed for the whole family as you adjust to the arrival of a new baby.
I offer full spectrum support as a doula through loss, termination and fertility issues, so do get in touch if you or someone you care about needs some support at a difficult time.
I’m a trainee breastfeeding counsellor and am experienced in infant feeding support. I offer tailored Infant Feeding preparation sessions for expectant parents, whether you are first time parents or not and whether you plan to exclusively breastfeed or not. I also offer infant feeding support sessions postnatally, and am experienced in supporting families with all kinds of feeding issues, including those using formula, bottles, pumping and nipple shields, as well as those who are exclusively breastfeeding.
I can support you through other feeding milestones, whether this is returning to work, introducing solids or weaning from the breast.
I also work with families wanting support with their baby’s sleeping.
