About Me
Giving birth is one of the most memorable events in a woman’s life. Today, in our civilised world, giving birth is a process taken over by hospitals and specialists who have left women dis-empowered, and often full of fear and doubt.
I believe this experience is much improved by making informed choices, preparing mind and body, and by safeguarding the woman’s needs and environment.
My journey of becoming a doula was born directly from my personal experience of birthing my first two daughters -when I ignored all about doulas- and then birthing my last two daughters, at home, with the wonderful support of my doula. What a difference!
I would be honoured to support your birthing process, and increase the chances for beautiful life-long memories of this big day.
