I cover many parts of Cornwall, including Truro, St Austell, the Roseland, Newquay, Bodmin, Wadebridge, Fraddon, Padstow, Redruth, St Agnes and Falmouth. I am within easy reach of Treliske and Penrice.
Other services:
*I am a FEDANT accredited Antenatal Teacher offering flexible and personalised antenatal workshops to people across Cornwall.
*I offer a Birth debrief service for those who feel they need a safe space to discuss their birth whether it was 2 months or 2 years ago.
*I have a cloth nappy demo kit and knowledge of reusable sanitary products.
*I also offer antenatal support and can accompany you to medical appointments as extra support.

About Me
My role as a doula is to support you on your journey through pregnancy, birth and parenthood. I will provide you with balanced and up to date information, support you to navigate through the maternity system, ensure you know your rights and options and be there when you need me.
My focus will be on evidence based information, understanding guidelines and research and supporting your informed choices throughout your pregnancy and birth.
I run the Cornwall branch of The Positive birth movement and run free monthly meetings at Penrice birth centre to discuss and promote positive birth in all forms.
A positive experience means different things to different people and I believe that there is no right way to give birth. My aim is to provide you with support and information so you are free to make your own choices in an environment of love and support.
Experience-
I have experience with supporting families with previous birth trauma, Autistic parents, women with perinatal mental health needs, Gestational diabetes, early induction, previous PPH, previous ceasarean birth and more complex existing medical needs.
I have attended births in hospital, birth centre and at home including inductions and ceasarean births.
I am a Feminist Birth activist and believe it is imperative that we address the inequalities in the birth world that affect BAME and LGBTQ+ people.

I have attended and completed many training and workshops over the years including-
Nurturing Birth, Antenatal wisdom, All4Maternity, With woman birth school, Microbirth school, Real baby milk, Doula UK, Lets talk birth and more. Full details available on my website.
