About Me

Hey – my name is Rose and I live in Leeds with my husband and two children and an overly sensitive miniature sausage dog called Nancy.

I believe there’s nothing quite as remarkable as bringing a brand new little person into the world (or little puddings as I like to call them) But, as with most things in life, being prepared so you can achieve the birthing experience you want and deserve can only be a good thing.

Whether you’re planning to give birth under the stars, at home or in the hospital I am here to support your choices without judgement or bias. It’s your body, you experience, your baby.

My training with Continuum Doula’s offers a highly individualised professional service with packages that can be tweaked to your individual needs. We usually have 3 x 90 minute ante natal visits.  This gives us lots of time to really get to know and trust one another. I can help you write effective birthing preferences. We can talk through your hopes and address your fears in a safe environment so that you feel empowered, in control and ready for the birth of your baby.

I will be on call from 37 weeks to attend the birth of your baby – whether this takes two hours or two days rest assured I will be with you every step of the way.

Once your little person is born we’ll have a further 3 postnatal visits during the first 6 weeks after your baby is born. These usually last around 2hrs. These visits are an opportunity to offer emotional support but also to get the practical stuff done too if that’s what you need to make your day better – whatever you need.
