About Me
Hello, I’m Stella.
Welcome to the incredible journey of becoming a parent for the first, or maybe not the first time. Whilst it is an incredible journey, having children can be challenging and extremely daunting. Coming home with your little newborn baby can be quite overwhelming, however I’d like to come and join you on your post-natal journey and be there for you to experience the highs and the lows together.
I believe that a Doula’s role is to help and support mum. I can help with some light jobs around the house, hold the baby for you while you shower or have a nap, help with breastfeeding or bottle feeding, bathing the baby for the first time, cooking a healthy and nutritious meal, help take care of older siblings or just take the dog for a walk. I can signpost you towards all the relevant and up-to-date guidance to help address any concerns you may have, you won’t be alone.
You may also need someone non-judgemental who can just listen while you talk through your pregnancy and birth experience in a safe and confidential environment, I am a very good listener! I’d like your memories of those first few months of motherhood to be happy and positive. I believe that with a loving and caring Doula this can be and should be possible.
A little about me, I’m 44 years old, I live in Thames Ditton in Surrey and have three children, a 10 year old boy, an 8 year old girl and a 2 year old girl. I absolutely thrive on the chaos of being a parent and love watching them grow and develop. Whilst it’s not always easy, it’s by far the best job in the world.
