I have over 25 years’ experience working alongside families as a nanny, maternity practitioner, and postnatal doula, supported by a Diploma in Early Years (2002). My work has always centred on nurturing parents through the transition into early parenthood with evidence-based, compassionate care.
Alongside hands-on family support, I have developed and written accredited training courses for professionals in Postnatal and Newborn Care, Understanding Infant Sleep, and Early Years Care and Education. These courses are accredited by the Open College Network, and I currently teach and mentor on a Maternity Practitioner training programme.
In 2021, I founded The New Parent Company, offering dedicated postnatal support during a time I recognised as both vital and often under-supported — a realisation shaped by my own experience of becoming a mother in 2016. I later expanded my work to include antenatal education and hypnobirthing, and now offer both in-person services across North West London and online support worldwide.
Becoming a postnatal doula has allowed me to deepen and enhance the work I already do, supporting families in a holistic, continuous way during pregnancy and the postnatal period.
I specialise in hypnobirthing and postnatal planning during pregnancy, alongside infant development and maternal nutrition in the postpartum period. I offer practical and emotional support with newborn care, feeding, infant sleep, advocacy, and physical, emotional, and hormonal recovery after birth.
Nutrition is a core part of my postnatal care. I love to cook and believe deeply in the role of nourishing food in healing and recovery, and this is woven into my packages of support.
