Volunteer Roles
Doula UK are recruiting new volunteer roles to complement our existing team. We are looking for volunteers with ideas and enthusiasm who are prepared to make a commitment for at least a year and are passionate about making Doula UK the very best it can be. We prefer that our volunteers come from inside the membership but if you have the relevant experience and are committed to helping Doula UK thrive we would love to hear from you!
While out of pocket expenses associated with volunteering are reimbursed, please be aware that none of the below are paid roles.
Director of Doula UK CIC
We are excited to announce a new round of nominations for the role of Director open to Doula UK members and friends.
This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future of Doula UK, contributing to our community and strengthening our values.
We particularly welcome nominations from marginalised groups, the global majority, and underrepresented communities, in line with our commitment to equality, diversity, and belonging.
Key dates:
Nominations open: Thursday 23rd October
Nominations close: Thursday 13th November
General Meeting (ratification of nominations): Tuesday 25th November at 1pm (zoom link to follow)
Online voting: Will open shortly after the meeting and remain open for three weeks from the opening date.
Ratification of Appointments: beginning of January 2026

Fundraising Coordinator
Could you help fundraise for the Doula Access Fund?
Community Coordinator
We are looking for a community coordinator to support our members, host membership circles and help organise training and events.
Social Media Coordinator
Are you social media savvy? Do you know your lives from your reels? Your threads from your posts?
Partnerships Coordinator
Help us build on our existing partnerships and forge new partnersips with organisations that share our values and ethos.
Access Fund Team
Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable mothers and birthing people? Do you believe that everyone should be able to access doula support? We are looking for volunteers to support the Access Fund Coordinator in running our Access Fund.
Rep Coordinator
We are looking for a Rep Coordinator to appoint, inspire and support our area reps so that our members can access a local Doula UK community and network.
Policy Coordinator
Become our Policy Coordinator to manage our guidance and policies both for our organisation and for our members.
Support Coordinator
Support Doula UK members with practical help; creating and signposting them to resources, finding a mentor, helping with their profile, and with emotional help by linking them with the Doula Support Network.
