About Me
“Gentle, intuituve, careing relationship, information, books, podcasts, conversations, openness and honestly just a beautiful relationship. I didn’t expect to get as much value as I did and I would high recommend working with Alice to any mum to be”
“Alice was my doula for my second pregnancy, and first homebirth. In additional to being very knowledgable and committed to her role, she has a positive attitude. Alice stayed extremely clam during the birth and she has lots of empathy. She helped me stay confident to birth my baby with no healthcare provider present at the time of delivery (they didn’t arrive on time). I felt lucky to have Alicie by my side during this special moment.”
Firstly congratulations on your pregnancy!
Hi I’m Alice! I’m a birth and postnatal doula based East London – sometimes further afield.
When I’m not banging on about birth, you will find me cooking up a storm in the kitchen, practising yoga or cycling around town.
My journey to becoming a doula
My journey began early, arriving as a twin at 36 weeks, maybe igniting a lifelong fascination with birth (who knows?). Studying biology at Bristol University only fuelled my curiosity about the amazing dance of creation.
Volunteering at the Hackney Children and Baby Bank ignited a passion for supporting families. That’s where I discovered doulas – the missing puzzle piece.
What kind of doula am I?
Witnessing the magic of birth wasn’t just life-changing, it was a calling. Now, a Doula UK Recognised Doula, I’m on a mission to support families in their journey to parenthood. I’ll be your champion, guiding you through the options with clear information so you can make informed choices. My background as a Crisis Councillor for a mental health charity has given me the skills to support your mental wellbeing throughout the journey.
Experienced in all birth settings, from hospitals and planned cesareans to home births without medical intervention, I offer a personalised approach, bringing calmness and knowledge to your chosen path.
Being your doula is an honour. I witness your strength, celebrate your victories, and weather challenges with you.
