About Me

Hi, i’m Anna a birth and postnatal doula. (mentored) 

I live in the countryside of Lewes with my husband and our 3 sons ,2 dogs and some chickens.

I have been a holistic therapist since I was 21 (24 years ago) working in spas and clinics, specialising in massage ,facials and reflexology.

I have worked in birth for many years with reflexology, helping women through conception, IVF, HG, conception after a loss etc. Reflexology helps their body to relax into the changes it is going through whilst making a small human! Amazing! I have also worked with postnatal clients using reflexology to help their body to relax back into its self after birth. Breastfeeding whilst having reflexology can help all those hormones release and increase the milk and it is a gorgeous treatment for both mum and baby. A lovely time for mum to reflect and reconnect to her body as her own. Reflexology is great throughout pregnancy and can also be used to help as an induction technique. Although ultimately baby decides when it’s time to come.

After having my first two boys I trained in Baby massage (10 years ago) which I still teach and love! It is the cutest of classes and so beneficial.

Working with families through baby massage classes is such a beautiful time. The small group nature of the classes can really help a mum navigate through the early months of motherhood .The support of meeting other new mums, sharing these times ,tips and tricks they have learnt along the way. And massage movements to help you to help your baby and empower you as parents.

Hearing many,many birth stories, it has made it very clear to me that support is so important at this time. Leaning on friends and family can sometimes be hard, so having a doula is the next best thing.

I had 3 very different births with my boys, My first son was in a hospital in London, it was long, I was prepped for a C section but ended up birthing with interventions,but pushing him out myself. Then I got some support for babies 2&3 which was a life/game changer. I had an independent midwife (i didn’t know about doulas then.) With her support my births were empowering, positive and lovely. Baby two, we were transferred in an ambulance after having had him within 20 minutes of arriving, we then walked out 3 hours later. Then third baby was a home birth ,it was like Christmas morning for my husband and other two sons. A really wonderful time.

With support, I was able to breast feed babies 2 & 3, support at this time is so important and invaluable .

This has lead me to being a doula, I want to support women and their families to have an empowering, positive and wonderful birth. Support can lead you to feel seen and heard , helping you to come into your power as a mum, as parents ,as a new family.

I can help you along with reflexology, aromatherapy, homeopathy and nutritional support, as well as a positive and calm vibe.

Prices and packages.

I am happy to work with a payment plan where necessary.

All appointments are face to face, initial first meeting is free.

Birth companion: £800

• 2/3 prenatal visits – birth planning.

• 24/7 on call availability- 2 weeks before to 2 weeks after your due date.

•Being there for you during your birth

• support for immediately after birth, when all is well, i will leave you to it.

• 2 postnatal visits – debrief, support.

Treatments can be added £50 an hour.

Birth & Postnatal care : £1000,00

• 3/4 prenatal visits – birth planning, 1 treatment.

•24/7 on call availability 2 weeks before and 2 after your due date.

• Being there for you during your birth.

• Immediate care and support after birth, when all is well and everyone is settled, tucking you up and leaving you to it.

• 4 postnatal visits – support plus 2 treatments.

Additional postnatal care is £20 an hour.
