Hello, my name is Azzurra and I am a mentored birth and postnatal doula. I live in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire with my husband, two boys and baby daughter. My children are 7, 5 and 1years.

I love seeing family and friends and having a good old chat and a cup of tea or coffee (if we’ve had an early start!)

For the last 13 years I have been a fully qualified nanny, in a job that I truly love. I have had experience with children of all ages and backgrounds and have had such lovely bonds with the families throughout the years.

After having my second son in 2020 right in the mist of the pandemic it highlighted a new love for pregnancy, birth and beyond that I experienced first time around however life got in the way and I just put it to a side.
I knew how important it was to have a strong support network around which makes me very passionate to help people have a positive birth and Postnatal experience, so I signed up to a doula course with the amazing Katy at Every birth matters.

As your birth doula I will offer continuity of care and provide you with emotional and practical support before, during and after the birth of your baby.
Pregnancy, birth and parenthood is such a magical time and you should be listened to and supported throughout. I will support you throughout your journey whilst you as a mother are born too.

As your postnatal doula I will celebrate the birth of your baby with you, Ensure you drink a hot drink before it goes cold, support you and your family with any questions that may arise, help with breastfeeding, help around the house, cook meals, help look after baby whilst you get ready etc, help with older siblings and enable you to have one on one time with your children.
I never come with any judgements or tell you what to do, I will be there to support your wishes.

I offer standard birth or postnatal packages as well as bespoke packages that may appeal more to you.
