Hi I am Caroline I would love to give you my warm congratulations on the birth of your baby... I am mother to 1 gorgeous daughter and a step grandmother to 3 beloved grandsons. I became a postnatal doula after my own wonderful experience of care and support after my Cesarean which I had when I was 44, giving birth to my daughter. 

I am passionate about reaching out to offer the same valuable, nurturing experience to other families. Becoming a mother is one of the biggest transitions one can go through in life and I would be honoured to lend my guidance, empathy and support during this new chapter of yours. 

The mother is my priority, I am there to nurture her needs and help during this transition process. I will empower you and your family offering non judgemental support. I know the exhaustion and overwhelm that can come after your baby has been born. I am here to offer all the emotional and practical support you might need to move through the postpartum stage with your newborn, so you can gently recover and hold your little one close. While you rest/take a shower/have some 'You Time' I can look after your baby. 

I have a strong understanding of the impact of birth and the postnatal period and how to look after a mother and her newborn both physically and emotionally. I have plenty of free time to offer so I prefer longer jobs if possible, so I can support you the best I can, in whatever way works for you. 

Beyond my own experience of bringing up my own family, I have worked with children for many years, and as a teacher at a primary school, and have volunteered for various charities for a number of years, all of which has taught me the life skills to support families during new stages of their life. 

I would be more than happy to help around the house with light housework as well as preparing light meals that can support both yours and your baby's health. I have my own car and would be able to drive you to the shops or do your shopping. Take you to doctors appointments, pick up children from school and other local errands. 

I have completed a postnatal course with 'Younique Postnatal' which has given me a holistic grounding in the practice of being a postnatal doula, including Intuitive Infant Feeding course, which has given me a fuller grounding of breastfeeding and bottle feeding.
