About Me
I am a hypnotherapist and hypnobirthing practitioner and have now trained to be a doula to offer even more support to new families.
As a certified Hypnotherapist with a regular clinic, I can offer additional services that no other doula can! Hypnotherapy can help with fertility, relieving HG symptoms, and turning a breech baby! Btu hypnosis can do more than that – it can help increase your milk production (amazing, I know!!), help you cope with difficult periods to help you cope!
I am a mum 2 boys (aged 3 and 7 – one with SEN). I had my 2nd in the midst of the first ‘proper’ covid lockdown as a single mum with no support whatsoever – so if you are feeling something – I have probably felt it too! Felt it, and got through it! My first son had Reflux and Cows Milk Allery (CMA) which made things so difficult until diagnosis at 10weeks. It also made breastfeeding (chest-feeding) a real struggle, and I ended up mainly expressing for the first 10 weeks.
My Mum (who was the most beautiful soul on this earth) died the year before my first son was born, and to be honest, I was really lost without her. And so I really have a strong desire to be able to be there for other new mums in that capacity that I yearned for – something I so wished I had had myself as I think my experience of those first few months would have been completely different. I want to give what I missed out on to other amazing new mums and dads.
I believe that the birthing person an make whatever decisions is best for them, whether it be free birth or elective C-Section and everything in between. I aim to support and encourage them in whatever they want to do.
