I created The Arrival because when I became a mother I realised something surprising:
People are prepared for pregnancy.
People are prepared for birth.
But very few are prepared for the emotional transformation that follows.
I’m Delphine, a mother of two, designer and doula. My own experiences of birth and early motherhood shaped the way I understand this work: not just as support for labour, but as care for the whole transition into becoming a parent.
I believe having a doula matters because parents deserve to be cared for, too. So much attention naturally goes to the baby, but the emotional, physical and identity shift into parenthood is enormous — and it can feel overwhelming, tender and lonely at times.
My role is to support you through that transition with calm, practical and emotional care. I want to help you feel informed, heard and held throughout pregnancy, birth and the early postnatal period, so that you can move into parenthood with more confidence, softness and trust in yourself.
I bring a gentle, thoughtful approach, rooted in listening, reassurance and creating space for you, your choices and your needs.
