Eleanor Collins - Preconception, Birth & Postnatal Doula

Based in Clapton, East London, I am a certified & mentored doula ready to serve the women and families in my local community. Trained by the incredible women at Developing Doulas. 

I offer preconception support for parents wishing to go on a journey of conscious conception and pre-pregnancy preparation.

As a birth doula, I offer emotional, physical and informational support during your pregnancy and birth. Working with you and your family to pull together the vision of how you want your birth to unfold and supporting you throughout this process.  Advocating for your needs primarily, whether birth unfolds as envisioned or not, we will walk the path together. 

As a postpartum doula, I will be there in the days and weeks after birth. Providing emotional support, breastfeeding support, information and practical support in those tender first weeks for mother & baby. I also provide nutritional support through lovingly prepared meals and snacks, supporting the postpartum body in recovery and breastfeeding. 

In addition, I offer ceremony and facilitation for ritual in the lead up to birth and postpartum. Creating a container in which to hold the energy of birth, honouring it as a scared rite of passage, preparing your space for the opening of the birth portal and those tender first weeks when the veil between worlds is thin and our babies fully drop into life in this world. 

All my services can be customised based on you and your family's needs. I'm here to support you on this journey, holding the torch as the magic of birth unfolds.
