Hi, I'm Elisha and welcome to The Crystal Doula.

I'm a mother of three, so as well as my professional training, I have been through pregnancy, labour, birth, and all that follows with my own children, and I've learnt so many tips and tricks along the way.

I decided to become a Doula to help and support people through this journey, to educate around birth, labour and beyond, and ensure that they know everything is an option, that they have a choice, and a say in what happens, as so often we don't realise that we have one. 

I've had traumatic births, but I don't have birth trauma, and that is the difference between having the knowledge and confidence to advocate, over just going with the flow. 

As a Doula, I provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support to you, and your family, at every step of your journey before, during, and after having your baby. My commitment is to be there for you all offering guidance, comfort, and reassurance.

I've supported parents for over a decade as a Breastfeeding Counsellor, and I'm now training to be a Lactation Consultant, and I bring all of that knowledge, empathy, care and compassion into my role as a Doula. I want you to have the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions, which in turn will help you to have a positive birth and postnatal experience.

I like to take a holistic and nurturing approach, and I will create a calm and supportive environment, where you feel heard, understood, and cared for.

I always want to provide a service that's tailored for your needs, so whether you're looking for antenatal support, continuous support during labour, postnatal care, or all of the above, I'm here for you, whatever you need at this time. 

I'm honoured to have the opportunity to support you on your journey through pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period. I also have the option for a virtual support package so distance is never a barrier to the support you deserve.
