About Me
A warm welcome and congratulations!
My name is Elizabeth I am based in East London, and I provide in person antenatal, birth and postnatal doula services for people in and around the London area. If you’re looking for remote doula services your location is not important – I can help! The prospect of one or more new arrivals is an exciting time and I am here to help you along your journey.
I trained as a doula out of a need to work in a more people focused way. When looking back at the various roles that I had worked in previously the one that stuck with me was working as admin support in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit whilst I was an undergraduate student. I was honoured to be a familiar face providing quiet support to people who were going through a challenging time. Someone with whom they could vent, laugh or cry.
Whilst I hope that your journey to parenting your little one(s) does not include these challenges It would be my privilege to be that familiar face providing you with support that is tailored to the needs of your individual journey. The UK is a safe place to give birth, as a doula it is my job to work on your experience meeting the gold standard so that:
You feel fully informed of all of your options,
you are able to make informed decisions,
you feel cared for, supported, and
your concerns are acknowledged and addressed sensitively and appropriately.
The perinatal year is an incredible journey and it’s my job to make sure you’re prepared enough to flow with the way that your personal journey unfolds. My approach is inclusive and completely directed by your specific needs.
