Ella Horsley

Birth Doula & Postnatal Doula

I have three wonderful children born in 2016, 2017 and 2020 and we live in Wimbledon Park with our dog Primrose. Before having my children, I worked in property, but I always had a pull to be involved in the wonderful world of birth. I had three very different birth experiences and my third birth was the most wonderful and that was partly down to an incredible midwife who gave me time and support and the knowledge I needed to have the positive birth I had always wanted. This cemented the idea for me that I truly believe that it is possible for every woman to have a positive birth experience and that a positive birth has a huge effect on the postnatal period and beyond. As a doula I want to help all the family to feel supported, empowered, informed, and respected. I will give you the much-needed continuity of care, access to accurate information and to be a guide along this journey who can hold and protect the space for you. We will always remember how our children came into the world and as a birth doula I want to give you the confidence to decide what is right for you and your family. I want to support you emotionally and practically to have a beautiful and positive birth experience. The early weeks with a new-born are magical but they can be challenging and overwhelming. As a postnatal doula, I want to give you all the support to have the confidence and time to be able to enjoy this time as much as possible. Whether its help with breastfeeding, helping with older children, cooking, looking after your new-born to give you time to rest or whatever you may need or even just to listen. Birth package:
  • Initial meeting or chat either in person or over zoom to get to know you and your family better and to see how I can support you.
  • 2 antenatal sessions
  • I will be on call 24/7 from 38 weeks until your birth
  • As much phone or text support as you need throughout your pregnancy
  • I will be there to support you and your family during the birth
  • Support after the birth to help establish the first feed if wanted
  • One postnatal visit and more if needed
  • 6 weeks text and phone support
