About Me
Hello! Thank you for visiting my profile page.
To tell you a bit about me, I have been a doula since 2018 and I am a married mum to two primary school aged children. We live in Tring and I grew up in the local area. When I am not with my family, I dedicate much of my time to supporting families as a doula and running The Mindful Birth Group®.
I founded The Mindful Birth Group® in 2017 and we have grown to offer an online PregnaHub® support platform as well as Mindful Natal® hypnobirthing courses around the UK and on Zoom. We pride ourselves of being inclusive of all birth preferences and paths to parenthood.
You can add on a private Mindful Natal® hypnobirthing course with me along with my doula services to gain benefits from the continuity of support.
I know it does sound like a cliche, but my ‘jobs’ really do not feel like work at all. I absolutely love what I do and I like to have a variety of the ‘office’ based work (running my business) and being ‘on the ground’ supporting families in real-time whether that be antenatally, at the birth or postnatally. My experiences supporting people ‘in the birth room’ inform the education we provide at The Mindful Birth Group®.
My values are rooted in making sure people have all of the information in order to make the right decisions for themselves. There is no one best way for everyone when it comes to pregnancy, birth and postnatal recovery. I then wholeheartedly support them in their choices.
Sadly there are too many occasions where expectant and new parents feel judged or misled, and I aim to ensure that the people I support feel informed and prepared for this next very special stage in their lives.
I also have extensive experience in supporting the LGBTQ+ community, solo mums/parents and pregnancy after loss.
