At Joyful Mothers, I believe that mothers are the center of the birthing experience and I am dedicated to ensuring that each mother (and partners) I work with has a joyful and positive birthing and postnatal experience during this incredible time of their life. As a Doula I offer calm continuous support, an active advocate and guidance to mothers by providing personalised antenatal, birth and postnatal services. I am here to help guide you every step of the way.

I'd like to start by saying congratulations as you transition into motherhood! Pregnancy can be an exciting, nerve-racking, happy, worrying time and everything in between but not to worry, as an accredited Doula I hope to be your Doula supporting you on your journey .

A little about me, I am a joyful mother of 3 beautiful children; a princess and two lovely boys. They are truly a lively and fun bunch! I also homeschool and co-lead a small local home education community group.

My Doula journey began in 2005, I was my best friends birthing partner and loved serving and being there for her during pregnancy and challenging childbirth. The joy for childbirth continued following the birth of my own children who all entered into the world in their own unique way (and is a beautiful reflection of their personalities!). My passion for being a Doula grew even deeper and was further ignited following my Doula training with world renowned Kicki Hansard. This has given me the opportunity to support mothers who have all had joyful and beautiful births that is unique to them. Being a Doula is truly an honour to serve and support women from all walks of life who are all connected through child birth.

My passion is to see women (and their partners) empowered and informed during childbirth to make decisions that feels right for them and for mothers to have a joyful experience.
