Hej! 

I’m Fanny, a full spectrum doula and birth keeper, passionate about all things birth.

For as long as I can remember I dreamt of working within the birthing world - but it took me a while to make it reality!

Originally from Sweden, with a stint in France, I now call London home.
I live in East London with my partner, our two children, and our furry friend, Margaret Scratcher.

I’ve always been passionate about birth and matrescence. After briefly dipping my toes in birthwork, working in a midwife led unit, life took me onto a different path. I ended up working in fashion and talent management for many years - but the birth world remained a quiet but constant presence in the back of my mind. It wasn’t until I had my second child that I felt ready to finally explore making this work a reality.

My own experiences of two very different births shaped not only my journey into motherhood, but also my desire to support others through theirs. I’m particularly passionate about supporting those considering VBAC, homebirth, and those navigating birth after trauma.

I believe our experience of birth can shape who we become.

Feeling respected, informed, and heard can have a profound impact - not only on the postnatal period, but on our wider lives and our relationship with our baby.

Accessible maternity care and birth rights are deeply important to me. I believe everyone deserves the same standard of care, regardless of background or circumstance. I work in a person-centred way and am a strong advocate for informed choice.

The transition into parenthood is not linear, and it looks different for each of us. My role is to support you in feeling confident, informed, and held - and to advocate for your wishes, whatever twists and turns your journey may take.

When I am not working you're most likely to find me gardening with the kids, experimenting in the kitchen, or in the sofa, lost in a book next to a glass of wine.
