Mentored Birth Doula & Mentored Postnatal Doula

With experience supporting women and families from diverse cultural backgrounds, I provide personalized, evidence-based care throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My mission is to help every mother feel informed, supported, and empowered to make choices that are right for her and her family.

Motherhood has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. I am the mother of two boys and have experienced two vaginal births, including a deeply empowering home birth with my youngest son. These experiences shaped not only my personal journey but also inspired my professional calling as a doula.

The birth of my first son, now 6 years old, opened my eyes to the beauty, strength, and challenges of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery. It also showed me how important it is for women to feel heard, respected, informed, and supported throughout their maternity journey.

As a doula, my mission is to provide continuous emotional, physical, and evidence-based support, helping parents navigate pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period with confidence and peace of mind. I believe every woman deserves compassionate, individualized care and the opportunity to make informed decisions about her body, her birth, and her family.

I speak Portuguese and Spanish, and over the years I have had the privilege of supporting families from diverse cultural backgrounds. My approach is centered on creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where parents feel empowered and prepared for the transition into parenthood.

During pregnancy, I offer five comprehensive support sessions covering:

• Understanding the physiology of labour and birth
• Exploring birth preferences and creating a personalised birth plan
• Navigating fears, concerns, and decision-making during pregnancy and birth
• Understanding common medical procedures and interventions
• Preparing for infant feeding (breastfeeding or formula feeding)
• Planning for postpartum recovery and adjustment to parenthood

In addition, all clients receive:

• Unlimited support via WhatsApp throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period
• On-call availability from 37 weeks of pregnancy until birth
• Continuous support during labour and birth
• Practical guidance, resources, and personalised recommendations throughout your journey

Postpartum support may include:

• Infant feeding support (breastfeeding, combination feeding, or formula feeding)
• Emotional support and understanding the physical and hormonal changes after birth
• Newborn care guidance, including bathing, feeding, changing, and soothing techniques
• Support with adjusting to family life and building confidence as a parent
• Tailored support based on your individual needs and circumstances

My goal is to ensure that every mother feels empowered, respected, supported, and confident throughout her journey into motherhood. Questions? Drop me a message!
