Hello, and the warmest congratulations!

My name is Georgina (she/her). I am the proudest mother to three neurodivergent sons. I live in south Somerset with my partner of over a decade, our children, our dogs and snake.
 I became a mother at just 20 years old, and it is the best, most difficult thing I have ever done. 

I am a birth doula. My support spans from education and support while you're pregnant, to helping you navigate life with your brand new family member. 

Across my motherhood and postpartum journeys I really saw the difference that having the right knowledge and support can make to your birth and the time that follows. I truly believe the antidote to birth fears is birth knowledge. 
 I will guide you through exploring and learning about all your options, providing evidence based information, space to ask questions and respect for your decision. 
 However and wherever you decide to birth your baby you should be treated with respect, compasion, with someone shaking their pom poms for you every chance they get. 

From becoming a mother at 20 I have spent countless hours supporting other people becoming mothers, hoping none of them feel the way I did. Due to my own struggles with following my births I have a keen interest in prioritising maternal mental health. 

I truly believe everyone deserves a birth they walk in to fully informed, and emerge from feeling completely empowered.
 I want every birthing parent to feel completely able to trust their own instinct and wisdom.
 I hope every new parent knows they are being cheered on so loudly and consistently that they never feel they are carrying the weight of those early days completely alone.
 My job is to help that happen. 

I am based in South Somerset, I cover Yeovil District Hospital, Musgrove Park Hospital, and Dorchester Hospital, including all of those areas (and in betweens) for home births.
