Mentored Birth Doula & Mentored Postnatal Doula

Hi, I’m Imo — a certified doula supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the early days beyond. I’m here to offer calm, compassionate and evidence-based support, helping you feel informed, confident and truly heard every step of the way. Whether you’re just beginning your journey or looking for support along the way, I’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch — I’d be so happy to support you from the beginning, or join you wherever you are on your path.

I support individuals and families through pregnancy, birth and the early days with their new baby, creating the space for them to find their own path into parenthood, whatever that looks like for them.

I am the eldest of four, and my fascination with birth began when I was very young, influenced by my youngest brother's home birth. I am deeply passionate about women's health, informed consent and birth rights, and I bring that passion into my work by helping families understand their options, make informed decisions and have the confidence to advocate for themselves.

My goal is to give every family the knowledge, confidence and support they need to navigate birth in a way that feels right for them, so that, whatever unfolds, they can look back on their experience feeling heard, respected and proud of the choices they made.

I do a comprehensive debrief session with my birth clients, creating time for them to reflect and gain a deeper understanding of their experience. Giving birth is a massive event, both physically and mentally, and planning the immediate hours and days after is very important. I work antenatally with families to plan for this time and discover what is most important to them in the early days with their baby.

My career and education so far have equipped me with so many skills that I bring to my role as a doula. My background in Health Psychology, together with my training as a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner, has given me an understanding of the role our minds play in our health and wellbeing.

Working in clinical research within NHS hospitals, as well as in primary care, has given me a broad understanding of our healthcare system and the challenges it faces today. I draw on this experience to help families navigate their maternity care from antenatal appointments through to birth and postnatal follow-up.

Postnatal packages

The shift from pregnancy to new parenthood is one of the biggest of your life. Your body is recovering and your hormones surging and settling. Feeding may be wonderful, or hard, or both. Your sense of who you are is quietly rearranging itself.

None of this means anything is wrong — it means you're human, and that this season deserves real support. Postnatal doula care gives you a calm, experienced presence in your home: someone to reassure you, lighten the load, and remind you that you're doing wonderfully.

  • Flexible visit packages — half day, full day, or overnight support
  • Infant feeding support — breastfeeding, bottle, or combination, with no judgement
  • Emotional support & active listening through the fourth trimester
  • Light practical help — keeping you fed, rested and comfortable
  • Signposting to specialist services when needed — IBCLC, mental health, physio

Flexible, and shaped around you - I take a limited number of births each year so I can give every family my full presence. Get in touch for current availability and pricing for your due date. I'd love to hear from you.

You can see all my postnatal package options and prices on my website.
