As a doula I love to work with the whole family, to offer continuity throughout and to support true autonomy. I hold space, provide information, hit pause when things feel too rushed and stand in your corner no matter what. I tend to skip the fluff and go straight to the grit. Not only because I am crap at small talk but because I much prefer to make meaningful connections rather than superficial ones. I use my intuition as my guide but am also down to earth and pragmatic. I know that you are more invested in your body, baby and the outcome of their birth than anyone in the world. That you are the expert. I fully trust in the wisdom you hold even if you don't trust in it yourself yet. So whether you consider yourself totally zen or filled with angst I am ready to meet you where you're at to walk this journey with you.
