My Name is Juweyria Hassan, and I love working as a doula because it helps me empower you as a mother and your new bundles of joy. I want to encourage you to enjoy your new personal experiences and unique situations. Being a doula gives me the opportunity to aid you in this new journey that you are about to embark on and provide any assistance you might require.

I understand that welcoming a new baby and giving birth is a challenging event and I want to be a shoulder to lean on and provide a level of comfort needed. I want all mothers that are in my care to have as much of a positive experience as possible.

Being a doula for my sister-in-law when she gave birth to my nephew and having supported them throughout their journey sparked my interest in becoming a certified doula. I am also trained as interpreting doula; my languages are Somalia and English.
