As an Allied Health Professional (Specialist Physiotherapist) working in the NHS for over 30 years, a mum to four children, and now a proud Nana, I bring invaluable experience that I’m excited to share with both mum and baby.
To me, it’s essential that mum feels fully supported — not only before baby’s arrival but especially throughout her birthing journey.
From my own experience of having four children, I truly understand the importance of extra support in those early weeks, as you begin to create your precious bond during the postnatal period.
It’s vital that you feel nurtured — emotionally, physically, and psychologically.
Working in a hospital setting for over three decades has equipped me with a wide range of skills, particularly in communication with clients, colleagues, and other professionals. I’m confident in advocating for you when needed.
My other skills include:
- Teaching antenatal classes
- Massage
- Gentle exercise and movement
- Relaxation techniques
- Breathing exercises and control
- Pelvic floor exercises and control
- Postural advice
I aim to be accessible to your needs — and I even have the bonus of a camper van, just in case support is needed at short notice!
Most of all, I believe that while this journey is amazing and natural, it is also life-changing. We all need extra nurturing, support, and love during these times to grow and blossom — both as individuals and in the beautiful new life we’ve created. 🩷💙
