My background spans many years of supporting children, young people and families - from early years settings to nannying, teaching and therapeutic work with adolescents, including those navigating complex trauma, safeguarding concerns and challenging circumstances. Alongside this, I’m the founder of The Joyful Activists, a global community that nurtures wellbeing and resilience for activists, humanitarians and charity workers. This part of my work has shaped my deep belief in rest, compassion and collective care.
I bring together qualifications in Early Years, Playwork, trauma-informed doula education and a Masters degree focused on mental health, gender and education. I am also a Childhood Practitioner in the Thrive Approach, which draws on attachment theory, neuroscience and child development — knowledge that flows naturally into how I support new parents and babies. I am trained in Trauma-Informed Doula Education, and I've had the honour of being a doula for five in-person birth and postnatal clients, and three virtual clients supporting with birth preparation.
Families tell me they feel safe, grounded and understood with me. My approach is gentle, relational and non-judgemental, with space for your emotions, your instincts and your unique story. Whether you’re preparing for birth, healing from a previous experience, navigating early postnatal days or adjusting to a new family dynamic, I’m here to walk alongside you with warmth, steadiness and care.
