Hello, Im Kelly, I live in a small rural village with my husband, our two wonderful teenagers and Slim Shady our black and white cat. I support families across Essex, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

To work with you at this exciting and special time is my absolute privilege. I provide both emotional and practical support alongside up to date evidence based information to enable you to make informed choices about your maternity care that suit you and your family.

Everyone’s pregnancy, birth and family situations are unique and I always tailor my support to meet your individual needs and circumstances to help you achieve a positive birth experience – however it unfolds on the day.

I have supported families and single parents in hospital, at midwife led units, at home births, water births, caesarean birth, induction, twins and IVF journeys. We discuss all of the options available to you so that you can decide what’s best for you.

Following the birth of your baby I can provide practical and emotional support to help ease your transition into parenthood. I can assist with breast/bottle feeding, offer guidance and encouragement on newborn care, run errands, look after baby whilst you rest/ sleep or shower or simply make you a cup of tea and provide a listening ear - whatever you need in that moment! I am also available for overnight support so that you can catch up on some much needed sleep.

My aim is to make sure you feel supported and heard and to have confidence and belief in yourself as you embark on all the ups and downs that being a new parent brings. 

Outside of doulaing I enjoy travelling; yoga and being outdoors and love cooking and spending time with family and friends.
