Hi, I’m Kelly, I live in a small rural village with my husband, our two wonderful teenagers and our demanding black and white cat! 

Living on the borders I am able to work with families across 3 counties- Essex, Suffolk and South Cambridgeshire. 

To support you and your partner during this special, transformative, yet sometimes overwhelming time is my absolute privilege - I really love my job!

As an experienced birth and postnatal doula I offer both emotional and  practical support and help you to navigate all available information to enable you to make informed choices that suit you and your family; ensuring you feel heard, safe, calm and confident. 

 Everyone’s pregnancy, birth preferences and family situations are unique; really listening and getting to know you enables me to tailor my support to align with your values and meet your individual needs and circumstances supporting you to achieve a positive birth experience – however and wherever your birth unfolds I will be by your side every step of the way. 

I have experience in supporting single parents, IVF journeys, home births, water births, hospital births - in both midwife led units and labour wards, twins, induction and caesarean and I am also a trained breastfeeding supporter currently undertaking additional training to become a certified breastfeeding counsellor. 

I am also a qualified Aromatherapist and can offer advice on the use of essential oils for conception, pregnancy, birth and beyond. 

Following the birth of your baby I can provide practical and emotional support to ease your transition into parenthood and find your own way. 

I can support you with breast/bottle feeding, offer guidance and encouragement on newborn care, run errands, look after baby whilst you rest/ sleep or shower or simply make you a cup of tea and provide a listening ear, I also offer overnight support so that you can catch up on some much needed sleep! 

My aim is to make sure new and expectant parents feel knowledgeable, calm, confident and really looked after as they embark on all the ups and downs that being a new parent brings.

Outside of doulaing I love to travel; exploring new places, cultures, customs and food!

I love being outdoors, am a real bookworm and enjoy baking and spending time with family and friends.
