Hi, I’m Kelly, a birth and postnatal doula offering calm, compassionate, evidence based support to expecting parents across the home counties and greater London. My aim is to provide reassurance, practical help and a steady, caring presence during one of the most transformative times of your life.
Before retraining as a doula, I worked in the corporate world as a Director, leading strategy, systems and programmes for a global recruitment team. In early 2026, I got the opportunity to take some time out and retrain. I knew that I no longer wanted to be in the corporate world, I wanted to do something that I really loved, where I could help others. As someone who has always been fascinated with pregnancy, birth and loves babies, I knew that being a doula would be perfect for me. Having had two children of my own, and two very different birth experiences, I wanted to be able to help other people through this and enable them with the skills and knowledge to have the best births possible.
I trained with Birth Bliss, whose ethos and values closely align with mine. I see pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period as very personal experiences - there is no single ‘right’ way to give birth or become a parent, my role is to help you find your way. I often remind parents that birth isn’t a performance and there’s no gold medal for “doing it perfectly.” I’m here to help you feel informed, supported, and safe in your choices. I will support you every step of the way, without judgement, however and wherever you choose to welcome your baby.
I live in Wokingham, Berkshire with my husband, our two children and our two dogs, Daisy the Boxer and Henry the English Bulldog. I love to spend time with my family, and I am most at peace by the sea. I’m very much a beach-holiday person, and Crete (where my profile photo was taken) is one of our favourite places to visit. I also enjoy keeping active, whether that’s lifting weights at the gym or swimming, and I’ve taken part in several charity walks and runs for Parkinson’s UK and Muscular Dystrophy UK - two causes very close to my heart.
When I get a quiet moment, I love to read, anything from crime and thrillers to romance and biographies, with Frieda McFadden currently topping my favourites list. On a sunny afternoon, you can often find me in the garden with my Kindle, and a dog sat on my lap.
If you’re looking for warm, inclusive and unwavering support throughout your pregnancy and early parenthood, I’d love to hear from you. I offer a free 30-minute call where we can talk about your hopes, concerns, and the kind of support you’re looking for, with absolutely no pressure or obligation.
You can book using this link or email me if that feels easier and I’ll be more than happy to have a chat.
