I’m a birth and postpartum doula and hypnobirthing facilitator based in County Durham, offering compassionate, person-centred support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. I support births in both home and hospital settings and work with families of all backgrounds, identities, and family set-ups, always with deep respect for your choices, needs, and values.

I believe, as many birth scholars and midwives describe, that childbirth is a profound rite of passage—one that deserves time, protection, and care. Birth is not just a medical event, but a deeply human, relational experience shaped by environment, trust, and the people around you. My role is to help create a sense of safety, calm, and continuity so your body and mind can work together as nature intends.

Community is incredibly important to me—no one is meant to journey through pregnancy, birth, or early parenthood alone. Building genuine connections and taking the time to truly know you and your story is at the heart of my work. I love meeting new people, learning about their life experiences, and offering steady, relationship-based support that honours your individual path into parenthood.

Outside of doula work, I live on my own with my two dogs and spend a lot of time outdoors walking and reconnecting with nature, which helps keep me grounded. I also love to cook and nourish others, and this naturally weaves into my postpartum care—where food, rest, warmth, and emotional support are recognised as essential, not optional. Supporting the postpartum period with care and intention is just as important as supporting the birth itself.

Through calm presence, evidence-based information, hypnobirthing tools, and hands-on support, my aim is for you to feel informed, confident, and deeply supported as you move through one of the most transformative passages into parenthood.
