You’re feeling excited, nervous and cautiously hopeful about your birth, but the birth stories you’ve heard make it sound like birth is something to just get through. Deep down, you’re hoping for something more – and you’re ready to stack the odds in your favour of getting it.
You don’t want to navigate this journey alone. You want someone beside you who listens, understands and is always on your team. My role is to be that person for you.
Imagine this:
- Feeling informed, heard and fully supported through your pregnancy
- Knowing you had the birth you and your baby needed and deserved, one that made you feel proud of your body and of yourself
- Starting your life with your baby feeling capable, grounded and confident
How I help:
- True continuinty of care – your familiar, trusted person to call upon in pregnancy, birth and post natally
- Birth Preparation you really need – clear information, space to understand your choices, trust in your inner wisdom
- Practical skills – Hypnobirthing, biomechanics, pregnancy yoga, aromatherapy, breastfeeding education and support
Working with me:
For me, this work is my full time job – and it’s also my mission. A mission for women to reclaim ownership of their bodies. This is your opportunity to reconnect with yourself, to remember you already have what you need.
I’m a total birth (and breastfeeding!) nerd – but in my eyes, the expert here is always you. I believe you know what’s best for you and your baby – and my trust in you will help you remember it too. Through our work together, you’ll build your confidence, grow your trust in your body (and your baby) and tune out the noise, so you can make the decisions that feel informed, grounded and true to you.
In all of my packages, I prioritise continuity of care because this was something I really felt was missing in my own pregnancy and I see the impact it has on other women I now work with. My support begins from the point of booking and continues post natally too. I’m there on the phone or over Whatsapp to reach out to if you need anything. There’ll be no need for 1am Googling anymore, you have your own ‘Wise Woman’ to call upon!
We’ll spend quality time together in your pregnancy, to build a trusting relationship and to go deep with the birth prep you actually need. Not just the run-of-the mill antenatal education stuff, but delving deep in to your hopes and fears. Pregnancy was a real shock to the system for me, and it taught me just how important it is to have the time and space to listen to your body, it so often has the answers. Pregnancy yoga and Hypnobirthing played a huge part in helping me find that inner wisdom again and so this runs through all of my birth preparation.
As an ex-primary school teacher and a Virgo, I'm a pro at making overwhelming information and big decisions more straightforward. I love decluttering – I’ll help you see through your preconceptions and those fears and connect in with what actually matters to you.
I’m on call for your birth from around 38 weeks and will support you in your chosen birth place: home, midwife led unit, or hospital. Through your birth I’m the steady energy that you can draw strength and reassurance from: I’ll be trusting you and the process, encouraging you on when the tough gets going, making sure you are heard and respected…and ready with a cold flannel at just the right moment.
After the birth, I’ll slink away when the time is right but will still be there on the phone when you need some reassurance, signposting on to other services or just to celebrate your wins!
Please check out my website which contains lots more info, including specific details and pricing for the packages I currently offer. If you have any questions at all don’t hesitate to contact me or book in for a free 30 minute connection call.

What parents say:
"From our very first session Kim’s knowledge and guidance transformed us from first time parents navigating the unknown, into a couple who felt truly informed and empowered to make the right choices for us and our baby. She was able to point us toward the right information and to help us find our own voice to advocate for ourselves. When things did not go to plan we were able to face each moment and decision with calm rather than fear because of the groundwork we had laid together. We were able to have the positive birth experience that we were hoping for even when the path there looked different than expected. I would recommend the support of Kim to anyone welcoming a little one into the world." AS
"Kim is amazing and I would highly recommend her. She is supportive, kind and a passionate advocate to have on your side. Prenatally, it was great to have a neutral space to discuss hopes for this birth following a difficult first experience and Kim helped me reframe my thinking. She encouraged me to trust in myself, not only when I was 40+ weeks waiting for labour to start but also during labour and birth where she was a calming presence who kept me grounded. For me, Kim helped make the experience more positive than I'd imagined possible. Kim always said ‘you can birth your baby, you don't really need me’ and whilst she was right, I wouldn't have wanted to do it without her". AJ
"Kim was utterly fantastic as our Doula! We had a home birth and having Kim there in the weeks before and after has been no end of help in making us feel supported with our new baby. She was such a calm and reasurring presence during the birth. It was just such a relief to know that she was there and had our backs! Plus she made us the best bacon sandwich of our lives just after our baby girl was born! Thank you Kim!" JLJ
