Hello! I'm Laura, a birth and postnatal doula living with my family in Crowborough, close to the East Sussex/Kent border. I serve families in TN postcodes and beyond - anywhere I can get to you when you need me!

I'm an in-person person. Experiencing life in an embodied way and supporting others to feel confident in their own skin has always been my passion and purpose. My first career was as a professional dancer on both sides of the Atlantic, and now I love combining my understanding of human physiology with a setting that keeps me closer to my home and family, and gives me the opportunity to support people in one of the most transformational moments of their lives. 

I believe in the power and instincts of our bodies, and the impact that nurturance and informed-decision making can have on what we are capable of. And I believe in the importance of community and good company! I support birth in a wide range of settings and celebrate families and love in all forms. I have supported LQBTQ+ families, and I volunteer for the very wonderful Happy Baby Community which provides support for pregnant and postnatal asylum seekers and their babies.

In addition to doula services I offer closing the bones massage to support a sense of closure for the birthing journey. I also offer 1:1, individually tailored pregnancy and postnatal movement coaching for increased ease, mobility, sensation and physical expression at these times of rapid physical change.
