Side by Side Doula Services aims to provide a welcoming and inclusive service for ALL families
I became a doula after the birth of my 4th child. I have extensive knowledge on areas of pregnancy and birth, and studied early years education at college before becoming a nanny for over 10 families.
I have worked as a volunteer for the NHS providing support and companionship for breastfeeding mothers.
I love to work with all kinds of parents, offering a variety of support techniques including help with feeding, baby care, providing for the household needs or simply listening and encouraging new parents.
I can support you with making your pregnancy and birth choices, provide antenatal education, guide you through your first few weeks after birth. I offer full-spectrum support for all types of families from pre-conception to 6 months post birth, including loving care through pregnancy- or baby-loss.
I am the Head of Membership for Doula UK as well as one of the Directors and a Birth Mentor. I also present the Doula UK Podcast – available on your podcast platform of choice
