A little bit about my journey...I started my doula journey at the end of 2023 after taking redundancy from my corporate career and having time to reflect on what I wanted to do next. I've always had such a fascination with labour and childbirth and after having my son amidst the pandemic in 2021, it became glaringly obvious that more needs to be done to support women and families through this most precious chapter in their lives. The misinformation I received during my pregnancy and postpartum really instilled in me a desire to want to change the narrative and to educate and support women through this period so that they can have the informed and empowered birth experience that they deserve. I decided to turn my passion into a reality and trained with the BirthBliss Academy in January 2024. I am also a qualified hypnobirthing instructor with The Calm Birth School and truly believe that understanding the mind-body connection in labour can be so beneficial. I recently trained in Birthing Biomechanics with the wonderful Shellie Poulter (The Serenity Doula) which was an incredible experience, and I'm very excited that I can share that wonderful knowledge with expectant parents.

As your birth doula, I will be there to educate and inform, to listen to you and provide evidence based information to help with your decision making, and throughout labour, be by your side to hold space, to make sure you feel calm, safe and relaxed and to help you have a positive experience. I am also there to support your birth partner throughout this time. As your postnatal doula, I will be there in the first few weeks to lighten your load emotionally and physically. They say it takes a village to raise a child, and I'm here to be your village. Whether its doing light housework, making you lunch or looking after the baby whilst you have some well earned rest, I'm here to support.
