I am a passionate and dedicated Birth and Postnatal Mentored Doula, as well as a mother of four children, ranging from 14 to 23 years old. With over 20 years of experience in education, I have had the privilege of teaching and leading across Early Years and Primary schools, both in the UK and internationally in Dubai. As a qualified Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo), I have supported children and families with diverse needs and worked with individuals from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.
Driven by a deep commitment to empower others, I am particularly passionate about supporting families in making informed decisions throughout pregnancy, birth, and beyond. As a doula, I believe in the fundamental right of expectant couples to choose how they experience pregnancy and birth—because, to me, it’s all about respecting their body, their baby, and their birth.
My approach is rooted in being a wise and empathetic listener, offering guidance, mentorship, and unwavering support. I understand that when a baby is born, so too is a mother, and I honour that transformative journey. With a focus on nurturing trust in both the body and intuition, I offer both emotional and practical support to ensure families feel safe, heard, and empowered throughout their journey.
Whether supporting a family during pregnancy, coaching through birth, or providing postnatal care, I am devoted to creating a safe and respectful space where families feel supported at every stage. I am truly honoured to guide and be part of the life-changing experience of welcoming a new life into the world and embracing the incredible transformation of motherhood.
