I'm a qualified birth and postnatal doula, a mum, and currently training as a hypnobirthing instructor. My own journey into motherhood showed me how important it is to feel listened to, informed and supported, and that's exactly what I hope to offer every family I work with.
I believe there is no "perfect" birth. Whether you're planning a home birth, hospital birth, induction, caesarean birth or hoping for a VBAC, you deserve to feel respected, involved in decisions and supported every step of the way.
I have a particular passion for supporting families preparing for caesarean births and VBACs. During my own pregnancy I focused so much on preparing for labour that I didn't spend much time learning about gentle caesarean options or the choices that can still be available if birth takes an unexpected turn. Since then, I've become passionate about helping parents prepare for all birth possibilities so they can feel informed and empowered, whatever their journey looks like.
As well as birth support, I also offer postnatal support because I know that bringing a new baby home can be just as important as the birth itself. Sometimes parents need practical help, sometimes emotional reassurance, and sometimes they simply need someone to listen without judgement.
I love building connections within my local community and working alongside other professionals to make sure families know where to find the support they need. My aim isn't to tell you what to do, but to help you feel confident in making the choices that are right for you and your family.
I feel incredibly lucky to do this work, and I'd be honoured to support you during one of the biggest moments of your life.
