My name is Niamh Hart and I am a birth doula in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Through my own pregnancy and birth experiences, I became aware of the value of knowledge and support.

Every birthing person deserves to feel the elation of a positive birth and to kickstart their journey into parenthood with confidence and excitement. The announcement of a doula training course right here in Belfast gave me the push I was waiting for to take action and I trained with Doulas of Northern Ireland in 2023. 

One of the benefits of this local, in person training was the insight into the specifics of the Northern Ireland healthcare system; and meeting some wonderful people involved in caring for women here was invaluable. 

I am based in Belfast and would be honoured to support families in this area and beyond.
