I’ve supported all sorts of births — the dreamy, candle-lit home births, the ones where the baby arrived before the midwife, the epic 43-weekers, and the deeply heartbreaking. One of the greatest honours of my life has been standing alongside a family as they welcomed their stillborn baby girl at 26 weeks — holding space for their grief, their strength, and their love.
I’m a mum of four, and my own births span the full bingo card: an unexpected caesarean at 36 weeks, hospital births, and a peaceful home birth. So no matter what kind of birth you’re planning (or not planning — because let’s be honest, birth has its own ideas), I’ll be able to use my evidence based knowledge and experience to guide you through.
Let me be clear: I’m not your stereotypical doula.
I’m not airy-fairy, I don’t waft about in flowing skirts beating a drum (unless you want me to). I’m brash, a bit sweary, and straight-up honest — but I channel all of that energy into helping you feel informed, powerful, and prepared.
And when the big day comes? I’m calm, grounded, and totally focused on you. I meet you exactly where you are. Whether you’re roaring through contractions, breathing through every surge, or navigating a curveball, I’ll be right there — supporting you, your partner, and even your children, if they’re part of the birth space too.
I offer a plethora of preparation option from group antenatal and pregnancy yoga/hypnobirthing courses to 121 sessions. My birth kit includes a professional grade birth pool and a tens machine.
I teach baby massage and sensory yoga, as well as, weaning workshops and sleep support, so you may find me supporting you long beyond birth.
This work is my calling — even if I didn't see it coming.
So if you want someone who keeps it real, knows their stuff, and will fiercely support you through it all — I might just be your doula
