About Me

My name is Nikki, I am 45 and have been married to my husband Mark since 1991. We have three fantastic (I am biased) children. A son Matthew who was born in 1995 and twin daughters Hannah & Laura who were born in 1997.

We live in a village near Buckingham with our Yorkshire Terrier Lola.

Before having the children I worked in finance for six years, but then became a full time mummy which I have loved and felt very rewarded by, but now they are all spreading their wings it’s time for me to start a new journey myself.

I looked at several different vocations but becoming a doula just seemed the one that stood out to me. The more I researched the more excited I became about the skills and knowledge that I have to support a new mum and her family as they begin their new lives together.

I completed the Nurturing Birth preparation course for Birth & Post Natal doulas in February 2015 and the DoulaUK Post Natal recognition process in July 2017.

I am also proud to be part of Doulas MK, who are a group of doulas from Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas working in harmony to support women and families before, during and after birth in a many different ways.
