Fàilte/Welcome! I'm Nyssa, your Celtic cousin, living and working as a Full Spectrum Doula and Holistic Therapist in sunny Brighton! I come from a background in the hard sciences - performing research in the fields of medicine and quantum mechanics - and retrained as a Doula in 2016 with Samsara Tanner under the Conscious Birthing family.  This training finally freed me to develop my true passion in supporting and augmenting Holistic Fertility, Pregnancy, and Birthing Care.  Such work is diverse and varied, yet quite simply the most rewarding thing I can imagine. Whether working with families looking to conceive, supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period, or creating magnificent placenta remedies to benefit the postpartum period; I delight in empowering families to advocate for what they truly want and need, and supporting them in those choices. I've lived in a fat, queer, disabled, neurodivergent, and traumatised body my whole life, and have worked to create a culture and environment where people like me can come for support and help with their concerns without fear of being judged or made to feel uncomfortable. I am always striving to do better, and remain committed to responsiveness in maintaining inclusivity in my work. I use the unique experiences in my career to provide exceptional resources in evidence-based birth and fertility care to my clients, so that I can support you in making informed choices - whatever they are.  My motivation is always to learn more, and assimilate that information to be the best help I can be to the families I work with.
