Becoming a parent is a significant and life-changing experience, whether it is for the first time or the fifth. It brings both challenges and joys that require reassurance and support. Growing up in New Zealand, I was always fascinated by birth and babies and worked as a Nanny for some years. After moving to the UK, I spent many years as an Executive Personal Assistant in the media and travel industry. Now, I've followed my dream, retrained, and truly found my calling as a doula. 

My goal is to ensure you feel confident, informed, and safe during the antenatal, birth, and postnatal periods. Always, a friendly face and loyal supporter, I provide nurturing care and emotional support to you and your family. Passionate about women’s and birthing people's rights, I help you ask the right questions whilst you prepare for birth. My most important role during birth is to ensure a positive birthing experience, whether it's at home, in a hospital, or via Caesarean. If you look back happily on your birth experience, then my work is done! 

After birth, your new parenting journey begins! As your postnatal doula, I will support you whilst you find your feet. My aim is to help you build confidence as a parent, offering reassurance and encouraging you to trust your instincts. I am dedicated to breastfeeding support, recognising that while natural, it can be challenging. Evidence shows good support in the early weeks improves breastfeeding experiences and I will help you achieve your personal breastfeeding goals and support your feeding choices. I can also help with practical things, like holding the baby while you shower or rest, cooking a meal, doing some light housework, or running errands. The idea is to support you and your baby and give you time to bond and get to know each other.
