About Me
Hi, I’m Rebecca and I’m a qualified birth and postnatal doula.
I completed my Doula training in 2019. I’m originally from Devon, but have lived in Brockley, South East London for many years with my husband and daughter. I offer full spectrum doula support in and around South East London.
I’m a friendly, compassionate and easy going person. I became passionate about supporting mothers and families when I realised how little emotional and guiding support is available to new parents through and during their pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey.
My goal is to provide you with a sense of safety and comfort. I am committed to ensuring that you feel heard and understood. My aim is to nurture you and your growing family, and to help you navigate the challenges and joys of this special time with confidence and ease.
I have good knowledge of local hospitals and resources available to new parents in South East London. Including Lewisham, Kings and St Thomas’s. I have experience of a variety of different birth settings, including birth centres, water births, home births and labour wards.
If you’re unsure what birth or the postnatal days will bring, I’m here to guide and support you in discovering the best path and what works for you. From feeding and sleeping to postpartum recovery and self-care, I offer guidance to help families find their own rhythm with their little one. My approach is gentle and supportive.
In both my personal life and professional practice, I prioritise the fundamental principles of using food as medicine. Cooking is my passion, and I love making nourishing and restorative meals that are specifically designed to support postpartum healing, easy digestion and breastfeeding. As a qualified integrative nutrition coach, I love incorporating traditional postpartum food and utilising locally-sourced, seasonal, and organic ingredients whenever possible.

Testimonials:
“The support Rebecca provided to me during the birth of my daughter was invaluable to me. She let me lead everything but also guided and supported me. Rebecca is genuinely caring and invested in my birth the moment I asked her to be my doula. Her calm and compassionate nature made the birth process so much more comfortable for me and my family. Rebecca supported and enriched the experience from my pregnancy to holding my amazing newborn in my arms”. Katie and Lola
“Rebecca supported us following the birth of my second baby, and she played a completely essential role in those early days and weeks as we adjusted to a family of four. She has such a brilliant and rare set of skills: she’s completely expert in her work and incredibly knowledgeable; warm; empathetic; both emotionally and practically intelligent; a natural with babies, children, and new mothers; able to guide and help in the gentlest and kindest way possible; and just so intuitive about what new mothers and babies need, from hands-on help to emotional support. She transformed our time at home after the arrival of our daughter and ensured it was a precious, happy and relaxed time spent making sunny memories. The food she cooked was beyond delicious and helped so much with my recovery from a c section after an exhausting and often stressful pregnancy. I feel phenomenally lucky to have had her with us and would wholeheartedly recommend her as a doula” Lizzie and Ben
